Privacy Policy — Rewardly eSignage

Rewardly eSignage (the “App”) is an Android TV application that displays order-ready information on a screen at a restaurant, café, or counter. It is operated by the merchant using the Rewardly platform. This policy explains what data the App handles.

Data we do not collect

The App is a display board. It does not collect personal information from members of the public who view the screen. It does not use the location, camera, microphone, or contacts of the device, and it contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.

Data the App processes

To function, the App exchanges the following with Rewardly’s own servers:

• Order display data — order numbers and their status (in preparation, ready, missed), shown on the board. These are not used to identify individuals.
• Device identifier — a random identifier generated on the device and stored locally, used only to keep the display in sync and to distinguish screens on the same account.
• Pairing / account token — when the screen is paired to a merchant’s account, an authentication token is issued and stored locally on the device so the board can stay connected. It is removed on sign-out or uninstall.
• App and device technical info — the App version and platform are sent with requests to help the merchant manage their screens.

How data is used

Solely to display order-ready information and keep it in real-time sync with the merchant’s Rewardly account. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and is exchanged only with Rewardly’s backend services. It is not sold, and not shared with third parties for advertising.

Data storage

The account token and device identifier are stored locally on the device. Order data is displayed in real time and is not permanently retained on the device. Uninstalling the App or signing out removes the locally stored data.

Children

The App is a business tool for merchants and is not directed to children.
